Through extensive cupping Maria’s farm, Limon II, Evaristo’s farm, El Guayaquil, and Wilmer’s farm, El Pedregal, have each been singled out as some of the top lots from the region this year. All three farms are located in the town of Barro Negro, around 1.5 hours from the Alpes Andinos. This lot is the combination of each of these amazing farms.
On our roastery cupping table this coffee stood out for its sweet, easy-drinking qualities. With a classic South/Central American profile of caramel and brown sugar notes this coffee excels in both filter brewing and espresso methods. There is a bright and clean acidity leaning into cherry and stone fruit territory with a light to medium body depending on how you brew it.
Using an Aeropress would be a great way to brew this coffee as, in the cup, it demonstrates both the sweet caramel flavours as well as the more fruity cherry notes.

- 3+ x 225g or 1kg coffee orders will be shipped in small - standard parcels
Storage Instructions
Storage Instructions
All 225g coffee is shipped in resealable bags. Store in a cool, dry place and never leave open to the air.
1kg coffee is shipped in heat sealed bags. Once opened either decant into an airtight container or use a bag crimp. Store as above
